China Choked by the Invisible Hand

ZACKS
China Choked by the Invisible Hand

Thursday in the Real Time Insight section of Zacks Ultimate we had an interactive poll and group discussion about the real state of growth in China. Here was my contribution:

"I went for choice B (0 to 3% annual growth)...but who the heck really knows...and that's part of the problem. We pretend that China is some great growth miracle. As if their government did something special.

If you flip it on its head their citizens are 1/5th as productive as those in the United States. They simply have 4X more people which is why they are the 2nd largest economy. So really this is a case of communism keeping them in the dark ages for many decades. And now for the last 10 years they have decided to pull their heads out of their rectums.

So enough praise to the Chinese government. They spit in the face of free markets and the invisible hand ...and soon enough they will find that the invisible hand will be choking them for all their folly."

Further proof of their folly was another injection of Chinese government cash into their stock market which turned the red arrows positive in the final hour. I truly cannot think of worse economic policy which stokes my greatest fear that their failings do end up hurting the rest of the world economy.

Again, that is my worst fear...not necessarily the likely outcome. Which is why being 50% long still seems about the right mix in this uncertain environment. Once the direction of things becomes more clearly visible, then we can get more long or short the market as need be.

Best,

aka Steve Reitmeister

The 10 Best Stocks for Options Plays in This Market
By Tom Gentile, Options Specialist, Money Morning

The biggest market drop in recorded history on Monday... a wild end-of-day plummet on Tuesday... a huge up day on Wednesday... and more bullish action today?

Talk about opportunity!

Right now, the only real barrier to trading profits is a stock that doesn't move.

So in times like this, I like to use a really great tool that identifies what I call my "Top Movers" - the stocks and ETFs that have had the biggest percent moves and best correlation to the market.

Then I can focus on finding the best stock with the best option trade and the best potential to double in value on the smallest move in the stock.

That's a lot of "bests."

This is a really simple tool, and I know you'll like it.

Let me walk you through this quick...

Use This 10-Year Pattern to Double Your Money
The big blue chips are known measured, dependable, clockwork gains, not breakout, triple-digit profits. And yet, Tom's proprietary "Money Calendar" has revealed a pattern that leads to 100% profits on some of the most popular, liquid shares on Wall Street.

He'll show you how to do it in this Power Profit Trades investor briefing. Just click here and you'll get the briefing and two trade updates each week. There's never a charge for Members, of course.

PERU:LA TORMENTA PERFECTA por carlos parodi,

Economía para todos

CARLOS PARODI

¿Estamos preparados?
